The RWoP “Philly for a Year” Giveaway – October 24, 2012 - Official Rules
1. CONTEST PERIOD: This contest begins 9:00am ET on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, and closes 6:00pm ET on Wednesday, October 24, 2012, the CONTEST CLOSING DATE.
The contest consists of two (2) winners of one (1) prize each. Winners of the prize are selected via a random draw after the Contest Closing Date. (“Random Draw”)
Each eligible entry received during the Contest Period is eligible to participate in the Random Draw for a chance to win one of the prizes. However, one person/family/household/address (“Entrant”) is only entitled to win maxim one prize.
2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, you must have a Real Women of Philadelphia user account. If you do not have an account, you can register at www.realwomenofphiladelphia.ca and follow the on-screen instructions. Once you are a registered user you will have access to daily posts and the Real Women of Philadelphia discussion boards.
3. HOW TO ENTER: 1) Log on to www.realwomenofphiladelphia.ca and follow the daily post; 2) Look for the question posted by Lyndsay Wells on October 24, 2012; 3) Post your answer before the contest closing time and you will be automatically entered into the contest for a chance to win. Entries limited to once per person.
4. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are over the legal age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside as of the Contest Closing Date and who are members of the Real Women oh Philadelphia website, excluding the following:
1) Residents of the Province of Quebec; and
2) Employees of Kraft Canada Inc., (“Sponsor”), and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, (collectively, “Promotion Parties”), and the household members and/or the immediate family of any of the above are not eligible to enter. For the purposes of these contest rules, “immediate family” means husband, wife, spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son, and/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same household.
5. POTENTIAL WINNER SELECTION: Each person who posts legitimate answer to the discussion board will be eligible to win. Each entry will be entered into a random draw that will be held by the contest organizers on October 25, 2012 at 12 noon PT at Los Angeles, California, from all eligible entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date. There will only be two (2) winning entries selected. Before being declared a Winner, the selected Potential Winners must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid and will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest Official Rules and acceptance of the prize as awarded. The selected Potential Winners will be notified by Private Message no later than October 29, 2012 If a Potential Winners cannot be contacted by October 29, 2012, at Sponsor’s discretion, another Entrant may be selected.
6. ODDS: The chances of being selected depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
7. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARVs): There will be two (2) prizes available to be won. Each prize consists of 24 free coupons for any Philadelphia product. Each prize is in the total approximate retail value of $100.00 Canadian dollars (for a combined value of $200.00 Canadian dollars).
8. DECLARATION AND RELEASE: Potential Winner will be required to execute and return a Declaration and Release within seven (7) days of attempted delivery or prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate Entrant. The return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or noncompliance with the terms of these Official Rules may result in disqualification and at Sponsor’s discretion, selection of an alternate Entrant.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering contest, Entrant, accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters. By accepting prize, winner, agrees to hold Promotion Parties, their affiliates, directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use or redemption of prize or participation in the contest. Promotion Parties are not responsible for lost or late entries or Declaration and Releases, or for any typographical, or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest, or announcement of the prize, or for technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of the contest as contemplated by these Official Rules. If, in the Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the contest, or if technical difficulties or any other factor including accident, printing, administrative, or any error of any kind compromises the integrity, administration, or conduct of the contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, to modify, cancel, or suspend this contest without prior notice or obligation. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify a person if he/she enters the contest or tries to do so by any means contrary to these rules or which would be unfair to other entrants or where contest entries are generated by any mechanical or automated means. Entry materials that have been tampered with, reproduced, falsified, or altered are void. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning online entrant, entries made by internet will be declared made by the name on the online entry form.
Currency is in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stipulated. Each prize must be accepted “as is” and may not be exchanged for an amount of money, bartered, sold, raffled, substituted, or transferred, and is non-refundable. In the event the stated prizes are unavailable due to reasons beyond the control of Kraft Canada Inc., a prize of equivalent nature and value will be available to be won, or Kraft, in its sole option, may award the winner the equivalent monetary value in lieu of prize. The prize will be delivered only to the confirmed winners.
Refusal to accept a prize releases the Promotion Parties, as well as their respective directors, officers, and employees, of all responsibility and obligations toward the winner of such prize. In no event shall Sponsor be held to award more prizes that what is mentioned in these rules or to award prizes otherwise than in compliance with these rules.
10. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor, and their agencies to use winners’ names, cities and provinces/territories of residence and likenesses for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification, or permission, unless prohibited by law. All information requested by and supplied by each entrant must be truthful, accurate, and in no way misleading. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the contest in their discretion, should the entrant at any stage supply untruthful, inaccurate, or misleading details and/or information or should the entrant be ineligible for the contest pursuant to these rules.
11. PRIVACY: All personal information such as name, e-mail address and age is collected solely for the purposes of administering and conducting publicity around this Contest and shall not be used for any other purpose unless you consent to other uses. By providing this information, you consent to it being used for these purposes.

I love fall because of the fruit and vegetables that are ready to be harvested.
That also means we eat healthier too because we live so close to some roadside fruit and vegetable stands. I'm disabled so my daughter and husband have been picking up all kinds of fresh food for the freezer. We have had a lot of vegetarian meals also. My daughter this year has been freezing carrots, red, yellow, orange and green peppers, tomatoes, squash, pumpkin and cabbage for cabbage rolls. I love fall its the most delicious time of the year!! -
I love fall, because you can put stuff in the slow cooker, and do not have to slave on the stove and plus you can always use philly in anything, -
Fall is here and the breeze smells like our neighbours' fireplaces. It reminds us that Christmas isn't far away- one of our favourite times of the year. Fall brings back memories of going back to school as a young girl and then as a teacher. Building leaf forts with my brother and sister and laughing as we (or the cold wind) wisked them away...And can't forget Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan(where we spent some time growing up) and Hallowe'ens. Everyone went trick or treating and yelled, "Hallowe'en Apples!", when we knocked on our neighbours' doors. After moving to Ontario, we didn't know what to say!!!Oh gosh, what a long time ago..Enjoy Your Fall!.....Love Carrie :-) xoxo -
I love fall because after all the outside chores are done things slow down. It's a time for reflection and appreciation of all the good things I have. I love my two mid sized dogs, both rescues, and the wonderful companionship they afford me. We walk every day on our property and they especially enjoy the cooler weather.

I love fall because I can go for a walk in the woods with my friends and afterwards we have a potluck. Everyone brings something to the table. Some of my favorite philly recipes are pumpkin cheese cake and the blue philly cheese ball. anderson.shar@ymail.com -

I love fall because of the beautiful color of the leaves on trees. Baking warms the house up. Philly recipes in the oven. Yesterday it started snowing here. Love potatoes with herb Philadelphia cream cheese. Smashed potatoes :) -
I love the Fall & get back into cooking Comfort foods like Sheppard's pie, Homemade pasta/meat sauce & homemade soups! Also love to bake pies, tarts & fudge! -
Fall is my most favorite time oy year and here are a few reasons why. I like the colours of the leaves on different trees, the fall harvest of vegetables, the nip in the morning air, return of our winter birds to the feeders, the smell of leaves burning and of course back into a the house filled with flavourful smells of cooking. Canada is great for the variety in our seasons.

My crock pot is one of many favourite ways of whipping something up each fall, i.e. stews, spaghetti sauce all the warm foods we don't make in the BBQ season.

The thing I love most of all about fall is Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for in Canada.
