Spent the summer dropping off the kids to various activities (weekdays) and on weekends we would go to the beach, picnics, amusement parks and other fun places! We ended the summer by visiting the Ontario Science Center and the CNE (Toronto). We all had a lot of fun enjoying the summer. -
We spent the summer moving twice, since the first place was a nightmare. However, we will be making up for our lost summer this winter in Cuba....Yay. -

Spent a lot of the summer trying to keep cool sitting by the fan or seeking out air conditioning! (Reminds me of the days of running through the sprinkler as a kid.) -

Hello Everyone ~ During the year I work part time as an Educational Assistant Substitute in two school divisions in my area. So, with no school in summer, I am off! However, I spent half a year organizing a community event which took place in July. I hosted 40 professional college aged dancers and they performed in a local theatre for my area. I also planned and prepared three meals for them that day which included special dietary needs such as Vegetarian and Gluten Free. In August we, my husband and I, hosted international professional music artists who eat Kosher foods. I also organized a free public concert for them at our local summer festival. Currently, I am caring for my 20 yr old handicapped neice for 11 days in another province. We eat Philadelphia Cream Cheese regularly on a variety of dishes. It still feels like late summer to me, but golden leaves dot the lush green grass of Alberta.
