I love bbq and am always impatient for the good weather to get here so I can fire up the coals. -
I stewed tomatoes and raspberries. I made a square with the raspberries I stewed. I cleaned out my freezer of banana's and made 4 mini banana loaves and one regular size. I used up bacon and hashbrowns out of the freezer and made clam chowder. I used up old berries and made triple berry crisp. Now, I am really tired. -
A beautiful ROAST done in a 200C oven (will take approximately 4 hrs. to cook) with all of my favourite seasonings. Mashed potatoes but my secret ingredient is YES ... you guessed it. I add a touch of Philly Cream Cheese. Now, that is what I call MASHED POTATOES. As for a green vegetable I will heat up some seasoned green beans. Yum yum ... -
We are chilling today, we had our big family dinner yesterday so today is leftovers, barbecued ribs, steak, potato salad and corn yummy! -
Oh my! All of your feasts sound so delicious! And I love how many of them are right from your gardens (or boats!!). Thanks for sharing. I've been marinating some ribs since yesterday afternoon that I'm going to bring to a family barbecue (I've never tried to make ribs before, so fingers crossed!). I LOVE grilled fruit, A. Jean! I know we have lots of fruit today, so maybe we'll grill some up! -
Greetings on labour day! We are having vegan chipotle sausages and
Vegetarian mushroom burgers with a Greek yogurt chili sauce.
Also Filet Mignon! Delicious! -
Long weekends ALWAYS mean cooking barbeque. The brisket went into the pit at 10:30 last night , and will be ready at 4:00. With corn bread, onion-cheese casserole, smoked jalepeno poppers, and baked beans. And conveniently, there is bacon-and-bourbon cheesecake for dessert :) -
Home made blue cheese stuffed hamburgers with grilled vegetables. Then grilled peaches with mascarpone for dessert! -
just caught perch so fresh fish for dinner gluten free pasta salad and grilled corn on the cob YUMMY -
Lemon-garlic rotissiere chicken on the bbq, roasted sweet potatoes, and fresh steamed green beans out of our garden. As for dessert, apple crisp. Mmmm....yummy! -
BBQ steaks, balsalmic glazed roma tomatoes from my garden, baby potatoes from may garden with fresh dill from my garden and steamed asparagus & beans, Yummm -
