I haved lived in Rossland BC all my life except a small time away for school. I love the place because it has all the seasons and a real home town feel even with the change in population over the years. I encourage everyone to pay us a visit -
Hmmm, I am going to count my hometown as Calgary because it's close enough :) My favourite place is a bit harder to narrow down. Each place has its own pluses and charm. I like Stephen Ave mall and the charm of downtown...sometimes. I like the waterparks and picnicking at the playground...sometimes. I think I can safely say I like every restaurant in the city because it means someone else has done the cooking :)
Now, outside the city we have some big bonuses. Banff just 2 hrs away, lakes in every direction, Kananaskis for hiking, the badlands of Drumheller...I like it all. -
I live in Victoria BC. I love it here because you can be active year round and the cherry blossoms in the spring are awesome too! -
My town at present is Parksville. There are so many things to love!
Craig Bay, Rathtrevor Park, Coombs (Goats on the Roof), and many foodie places like Hilliers gourmet meats, McLeans Fine Foods, Coombs Old Country Market, St.Jeans Cannery, Fish Creek Seafood Market, and so many more. It is beautiful here, with moderate weather. Everyone is jealous that we do not need air conditioning and can get fresh fruit, wine, fresh fish and seafood every day. -
I just moved to a town on the lake of two mountains, called Ste-Marthe-Sur-Le-Lac. My favorite thing about my new town is being surrounded by mountains and fields full of fresh fruits and vegetables that I can buy fresh and use in my cooking and baking! -
I am from Prince Edward- Hastings County in Ontario. It is a beautiful area of the province and one that many people visit during the summer months. My favourite spot for relaxing and a great day at the beach is Sandbanks Provincial Park on Lake Ontario. On the way home, I love to pick up farm fresh vegetables from Hagerman's Farm Stand just outside of Picton. Yum! -
I am from Regina Saskatchewan and one of my favourite places is Wascana Lake. The park is beautiful all seasons and the walk around the lake is just the right length to be enjoyable without being too difficult to complete, even on hot or cold days. -
I like to think that I have 3 "hometowns" -1. Regina Saskatchewan, this is where I was born, attended University, met my Husband and where we go back to visit family,my favourite place is the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, it is such a wonderful place to take our kids,I have fond memories of my Dad taking us there.2. Carnduff Saskatchewan. this is where I was raised, and held my first teaching position, and where we go back to visit my Mom. My favourite place is the old High School where I was fortunate enough to have my Dad teach me. He passed away in 2004, a few years later it was renamed the Dean Fraser Community Centre after my Dad, I am very proud of him for so many reasons. and 3. Ottawa Ontario, we have been here for 14 years, raising our four children. We love the Museum of Nature, and my favourite place to eat is the Horn of Africa, I never get tired of the amazing Ethiopian Food. -
I am from Owen Sound(Ontario). And we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular Fishing Derby at the end of August....the largest in Ontario. IF you don't fish we have more to offer like Summerfolk in the middle of August! But you decide what you would love to do here. Visit this website to get to know my hometown. www.owensound.org -

I'm in Wilberforce, Ontario. In the summertime, my favourite place is Wilbermere Lake, right in the middle, looking up to the green hills that surround it! -
I was born in a small city in Southern BC named Castlegar. I have lived here on and off through out my life and have been "back" for 15 years now. No plans to move anywhere else as this really is a most beautiful part of our country! -
I need to put in a "plug" for some of us further west. So far the closest to me is the comment from Joyce on Manitoba.
I live in Calgary and I have to say that the best part of that is being so close to Banff National Park. A great place for casual walks, vigorous hiking and skiing, a wonderful hot springs . . . Oh and did I mention the scenery. Can you possibly beat those rocky mountains whether they are covered with snow or beautiful summer colours? By the way, there are also some REALLY GOOD places to explore/eat in you are a "foodie" like me. Come check it out sometime - I'm pretty sure you wont be disappointed! -
I live in Mississauga, Ontario and I love that we are close to Toronto. I love taking the kids to the Rogers Center whenever Disney on Ice comes to town! I love being not too far from Niagara Falls as well as it makes for a great weekend getaway! -
I am from Grey Bruce Peninsula in Ontario. Home of one of only 12 Biosphere Reserves across the world. We are a link to the North and a link to the largest fresh water inland lake in the world via the great Chi Cheemaun ferry. We are unspoiled and surrounded by pristine waters, and numerous sand beaches such as our blue flagged Sauble Beach. Our aboriginal cultures are vibrant with two First Nations communities that celebrate powwows every summer. The quietness of the area, one can hearing the drumming and singing from a mile away. From hiking, to fishing to kite boarding, to biking to diving- we are the number one spot for 4 season fun. -
I live in Mckellar, Ontario which is outside of Parry Sound. My favourite place is definitely on of the many beaches in the area. Growing up beside the water, I spent my entire summer swimming and playing at the beach. Nothing can beat that! -

I'm from Port Dover located on the shores of Lake Erie, and my favourite place in our town is the Pier, where it's bustling with people on the beach and walking on the boardwalk to the end where the quaint light house stands. Come pay a visit to our pretty little town this summer and enjoy some foot long hot dogs, perch & pickerel, and ice cream. -
