And the Final Dream Destination Winner Is…
It’s been quite an exciting week here at Real Women of Philadelphia with the announcement of our first Dream Destination winner, stephwren.
I am back to announce the final winner in our Dream Destination contest.
Congratulations, Cathy Bray, for your winning recipe, Frozen Chocolate Covered Brownies with Buttered Rum Caramel (on a stick!)! Philly will be sending you on a weeklong trip for two to New York City!
In Cathy’s words, this is what inspired her recipe and why New York is her dream destination:
"New York City Street Food!! The imagination that saturates this great city is mind blowing! What an incredible experience for a big time foodie. This is ALL about the food artists that work hard every day to give you, not only amazing taste, but memories you will NEVER forget! Food trucks dedicated to just mashed potatoes with the most unique toppings and ice cream trucks that sell such flavours as ice wine or even lobster gelato!! Are you kidding me?!!! What an adventure it would be to win a trip to New York City and experience firsthand these talented artisans! With this in mind I have taken my grandmother's brownie recipe, added a whole brick of cream cheese (WOW), topped it with buttered rum caramel and coated it in chocolate!! Street food? Heck ya, I added a stick!!"

PS.....I am just waiting for the second rise of Stephwrens winning recipe from yesterday. I HAD to try it. It sounds so interesting....and I'm always up for something new that I've never had before.... Can't wait until I can dive into them... Some other ladies here have made them already and really like them!!
